How it works
Roamify Body finds every indented blockquote in your note and removes it, while leaving the body text exactly as it is. A blockquote is any line that starts with > — often written under a paragraph as - > your citation — including multi-line quotes whose continuation lines also begin with >.
Paste your note
Copy a paragraph, note or page out of RoamResearch in Bullet, Document or Number mode, and paste it into the input box.
Strip the quotes
Click the orange Convert button. Every indented > blockquote is removed. Keep Keep bullets & numbers checked to preserve all list markers, or uncheck it to strip only the top-level ones.
Copy & use
One click on Copy puts the cleaned body text on your clipboard. Paste it anywhere — email, doc, chat — without the supporting citations.
Every copy mode, one button
RoamResearch can copy the same note differently depending on how you select it. Roamify Body understands all three forms and always keeps only the body text.

Frequently asked questions
What does Roamify Body remove?
Any line that starts with > — the indented blockquotes RoamResearch users add under a paragraph as supporting citations — including their multi-line continuations. Everything else is kept.
Which RoamResearch copy modes are supported?
All three. Bullet mode (- text), Document mode (plain text) and Numbered mode (6. text) are all detected automatically — you don't need to tell Roamify Body which one you used.
Will my bullets or numbers be changed?
Only the > blockquotes are removed. By default, bullet points and numbers stay exactly as they were. If you uncheck Keep bullets & numbers, only the top-level markers are stripped — nested child bullets keep their indentation and - markers, so the structure of your note is preserved.
What if my note has no blockquotes?
Roamify Body passes the text through unchanged, collapsing any long runs of blank lines into a single one. A friendly status message tells you nothing was removed.
Do I need to remove the surrounding text first?
No. Paste a whole paragraph, page or note. Roamify Body keeps every word and only strips the indented blockquotes.
Is Roamify Body really free?
Yes. Roamify Body is 100% free, with no sign-up, no account and no usage limits. Every conversion runs locally in your own browser.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. The cleaning happens entirely in your browser tab. Nothing you paste is uploaded, stored or tracked.
